Why do I need to Log In?

Access to Bloodborne Pathogens Training is available only to those who are or who have been registered. Access is available to facilities who are enrolled in the OSHA Compliance Program Those facilities may register their employees to access BBP Training online.

Individuals who do not work for an enrolled facility may access BBP Training by purchasing access
through the OSHA section of our public area (blue menu bar) of our site.

How do I register an employee to take the BBP Training Course?

Registered users of the OSHA compliance program may enroll their employees in one of two ways:

  1. Click on the login button in the upper right area of the website. Click on the Bloodborne Pathogens Training icon. Login to the Training Center by using your username and password. In the left menu section locate "Users" and click on the "Add" link. Complete the form and submit.
How do I delete an employee from taking future training?

Registered users of the OSHA compliance program may place their employees in an "Inactive" status from within the training site (http:training.saferansmarter.com)

  1. Click on the "Login" link at the top right area of the website. Click on the Bloodborne Pathogens Training icon. Using your regular username and password, login to the training site.
  2. Click on the "Admin" menu item and locate the "User" link in the left menu. Click on "Edit"
  3. Search for he user you wish to change. Click on the user's name.
  4. From this screen, locate the status dropdown box in the right area of the page and change the user's status to "Inactive". All training records will be kept on file, but the user will no longer have access to the training site or their training records. If needed, the user can be re-activated.
I am not sure who is enrolled in BBP training and who is not. How do I view this information?

Administrators can login and select "Reports" from the top menu. Then click on "User Summary" under the User heading in the left menu. All of the users will be displayed.

My employees do not have an email addresses.

Our new Training Center no longer requires email addresses for users. However, users may add an email address if desired.

How do I change my username, password and/or my email address?

After logging into the training site, any user or administrator can change their profile information by clicking
on the "My Profile" link on the top menu. A web form will be displayed that will allow the user to change and update their information. Be sure to click on the "Save" button to save your changes.
